Meet at Auckland Airport for our flight to Tokyo. Upon arrival, a tour guide will greet us and transfer us to our 4-star hotel after dinner.
We’ll start our day with breakfast, then visit the historic Sensoji Temple, the oldest in Tokyo. Our journey continues to the Imperial Palace Outer Garden and the famous Nijubashi Bridge. Later, we’ll explore Ginza, Tokyo’s premier shopping district, known for luxury shopping.
After breakfast, we’ll explore Shinjuku, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and Shinjuku Kabukicho. We’ll also visit the serene Meiji Shrine and experience the fashion-forward streets of Harajuku.
We’ll head to Yokohama to visit the historic Red Brick Warehouse and the beautiful Yamashita Park. The day ends with a visit to Yokohama’s vibrant Chinatown.
Our journey takes us to Enoshima Island, followed by the volcanic Owakudani Valley in Hakone. We’ll also visit the Hakone Open-Air Museum.
We’ll explore the Oigawa Railway and the picturesque Oigawa Eight Lakes. A visit to Asama Shrine and Lake Kawaguchi offers breathtaking views of Mount Fuji.
In Kyoto, we’ll stroll down the historic Gion Hanami-kōji street, visit Yasaka Shrine, and explore Nishiki Market’s culinary delights.
Experience making wagashi (Japanese sweets) at a workshop. We’ll also visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the traditional streets of Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka.
Visit the iconic Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and the scenic Arashiyama area, including Togetsukyo Bridge and the bamboo forest path.
Discover Fushimi Inari Taisha’s beauty, then learn about Japanese tea culture. We’ll end the day shopping in Shinsaibashi and dining in Dotonbori.
Explore Osaka Castle Park and Nara Park, home to hundreds of wild deer. Visit Todai-ji Temple and learn to make sushi at Umeshu Sushi School.
Travel from Kansai Airport to Beijing, then back to Auckland.
